Monday in Millport

We left this morning at 10am and returned after 8pm. We (well most of us) cycled round the island, a distance varying from 6 to 12 miles depending on who you believed! Had some time in the seaside town of Largs and had fish and chips and pizza at Doonfoot. Weather has been very mixed, windy, sunshine and showers.

Tomorrow will be canoeing and a short but steep hillwalk at Straiton.

hi everyone! think the official distance round Millport should be rounded up to twenty! well done! Did all the teachers manage a coffee in the Ritz cafe?(main Jamieson reason for a trip to Millport). Straiton is so lovely. Hope you see it in the sunshine! Love from all the Jamiesons x

It’s only now that I’ve built up the courage to actually sit down at my desk and have a look on the website. Having cycled every one of those 12 miles (and yes, they really did feel like 12 miles!) with the group, i’ve been ever so slightly sore today!

It was great spending time with you all yesterday and I hope that you all enjoyed your pizza or fish and chips! I was over in Dunoon today checking out a location for a future activity and was thinking of you all as I drove past a group of students canoeing. Ich hoffe, ihr viel Spaß gemacht habt. (Was that right?)
