Thanks Melissa for your comments re contacting home by email. In theory that is possible but if 10 of you are waiting to use my laptop  to send emails it could take at least half an hour which may not be possible. I will post an entry on this blog as soon as I can on Sunday evening to say we have arrived safely. All of this is dependent on getting Internet access at the Turmvilla, although I ‘m sure if I can’t get laptop to work I can use the office computer.

There is really no need for you to bring mobile phones at all. If you get a lot of text messages from mates while away you will pay for them (check with your network).

I will give all of you an emergency help card with text in German saying you are lost and my phone number and the Turmvilla’s number for when we are in Dresden.

    hola, Que tal?
    me and rach are just sitting in the library at school making some saxony bants!! hehe. eigentlich langweilen wir uns!
    was just wondering what’s happening with the gorge walk? i missed all the info on it (and rachie not a very good explainer!)
    are we going all day?? where do we meet? and what time? when will we get back?

    soo excited about saxony!! will be great! not looking forward to the early starts! ahhhh
